{"id":62,"date":"2023-05-06T16:10:22","date_gmt":"2023-05-06T14:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flak.be\/?post_type=albums&#038;p=62"},"modified":"2023-05-11T13:03:56","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T11:03:56","slug":"under-troubled-waters","status":"publish","type":"albums","link":"https:\/\/www.flak.be\/en\/albums\/under-troubled-waters\/","title":{"rendered":"Under Troubled Waters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jean-Christophe Renault\u2019s 1-2-1 with his faithful companion continues, exploring\u00a0 the medium and sub ranges of the keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>If his previous album, &#8216;Ears Have No Eyelids&#8217;, was a tribute to numerous mentors, this one is more of a posthumous homage to his grandmother who was also a pianist. She held his very young hand in hers, and made him listen to &#8216;Pictures at an Exhibition&#8217; by Modest Mussorgsky&#8217;s&#8230;\u00a0 It is at that moment he realized that notes are capable of expressing so many feelings, to evoke so many pictures in one\u2019s mind.
