FIVE YEARS OF FLAK RECORDS AT l’OPRL ON DECEMBER 13TH: THE PROGRAMME
An evening in two acts that will span the entire sound spectrum of Flak Records
The evening will be divided into two distinct and complementary parts, reflecting the richness and diversity of the label.
Act I: Neoclassical / Jazz
The evening will begin with the intimate compositions of Véronique Gillet on guitar accompanied by Raphaël Feye on cello (+ guests), followed by the contemplative melodies of Jean-Christophe Renault on solo piano. Next up will be the Johan Dupont Trio, returning to the stage they set on fire on 20 May.
Act II: Electro / Cinematic
The 18 musicians of OOOTOKO will reveal some new tracks, while The Brums and Kowari will take turns making the walls of the OPRL vibrate with their mix of electronic, jazz and classical music.
The intensity will gradually build to a climax with an exceptional performance bringing together the label’s artists in a daring and unique composition, specially created for this anniversary evening. This unprecedented fusion promises to transform the prestigious stage of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège into a sound laboratory bursting with energy.
