KOWARI

After capturing hearts with their debut LP ‘Trail’ and enthralling audiences across fifty European tour dates, Belgian duo Kowari is gearing up for the release of their sophomore album ‘Memento,’ later in 2024.

Damien Chierici (violin, programming) and Louan Kempenaers (piano, programming) are ready to transport listeners into a realm of modern electronica, dedicated to the themes of travel and letting go. ‘Memento’ promises to be a captivating exploration of sound, seamlessly blending classical instruments with electronic beats.

The first taste of their evolved sound comes in the form of the mesmerising lead single, ‘Tomorrow.’ Departing from their neoclassical roots, this hypnotic track showcases a fusion of violin and piano intertwined with an electronic pulse. A slow-burning symphony of classical elegance and electronic allure, ‘Tomorrow’ skillfully merges arpeggios and machines in a sophisticated yet accessible manner.

Accompanying the single is a visually stunning music video directed by Louis Kempeneers.

Speaking about their musical evolution, Kowari shared: “The Kowari DNA we imprinted on ‘Trail’ is still there. The piano, the violin, the search for melodic power in the compositions, the drive of the loops, the soothing moments. But there was also a desire to add organic warmth and go even further in the use of electro elements.”

“During our concerts, people cry on some tracks and dance on others.
That’s exactly what we’re looking for. »
